Setting Preferences

To change the font size:

Open the Edit menu and select Preferences. Three font settings let you select the size of article text:
 

• Standard—the original Britannica 2003 font size
   

• Larger—a font than the Standard size
   

• Largest—the largest font setting; recommended for large screens with high resolution settings  

If you do not see the article text change size, close and restart Britannica 2003. Please note: Graphical text in the program interface is not affected by this setting and cannot be changed.
